California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

As part of the supplier approval process, Kettle Cuisine requires self-assessments of all of our suppliers to verify that they are not at risk for violating anti-slavery and human trafficking laws. We do not use third-party verifiers. Our internal team reviews these assessments alongside other supplier documentation using an internally developed rubric. Our team is currently unable to verify whether our suppliers or sub-contractors use labor brokers.

Kettle Cuisine does not conduct direct or mandate third party audits as standard policy for all suppliers to evaluate their compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws or regulations. However, suppliers which are deemed to be high risk during the verification process may be required to provide a SMETA or equivalent audit to maintain approved supplier status.

Kettle Cuisine does not require our direct suppliers to certify that they comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws in the country or countries in which they do business.

Employee non-compliance with Kettle Cuisine standards regarding slavery and trafficking can result in corrective action or termination, depending on the number and severity of non-compliances. Our internal team will work with an employee to resolve any such instances of non-compliance. Kettle Cuisine does not maintain anti-slavery or human trafficking standards for contractors.

Kettle Cuisine does not provide broad, formal, training for employees or contractors on human trafficking and slavery.
